David is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an Economics graduate. He founded Rickards in 1980 as a broad-based accountancy firm and quickly established a media specialisation securing Scottish Television as a first media client that year.
Over the next few years David was responsible for rolling out the media specialisation through commercial television and into other media. David’s long experience in the media sector brings unrivalled senior-level contacts at many of the blue-chip media owners.
