1980, the start of a new decade and the year that brought us Pac-Man, post-it notes, the Rubik’s cube, and Ted Turner launched CNN, the first all news network, which was broadcast worldwide. A time for change and a question on everyone’s lips was, “who shot JR?”. This was also the year that saw the launch of Rickards Media Services, when we won our first audit contract for Scottish Television.
